Concert FAQs

Q: If I have ordered my tickets in advance, when will they arrive?
A: We will mail them the week before the Festival begins. They should arrive about a week before the first concert. Or you can ask us to hold them to pick up at the box office.

Q: Is there anything special I should know as a season ticket holder?
A: Yes, there is a special entrance that will save you time getting to your seat. Look for the sandwich-board sign outside Crooker Theater indicating the subscriber entrance.

Q: Do you have seating for people with disabilities?
A: Yes, there is ample seating at both venues (Crooker Theater and Studzinski Recital Hall) for people with disabilities, and there are parking slots near to the entrances. Please call ahead if you have special requirements so we may arrange for any necessary assistance.

Q: Is there adequate parking at your concert venues?
A: Yes. Crooker Theater has plenty of available parking. The parking at Studzinski Recital Hall is more dispersed, as it is on the Bowdoin College campus. Early arrivals may find parking on Campus Drive. More parking is available on Park Row, College Street, South Street, and in the Sills Drive and Coffin Street parking lots. Please leave time in all instances for the walk to the hall.

Q: What time should I arrive for the performance?
A: You should plan to arrive at least 15-20 minutes before the concert start time to find parking and to get to your seat.

Q: What happens if I arrive late?
A: You will have to wait to enter the hall until the end of the piece that is being performed so as not to disturb the performers and the other members of the audience.

Q: What if I can't make it to all of the concerts?
A: We do not provide refunds for tickets purchased or ordered. Tickets returned to the Festival office for resale are tax deductible. Please notify us by noon on the date of the concert if you would like us to resell your ticket.

Q: How do I get there if I don’t have a car?
A: Brunswick Taxi (207-729-3688) can drop you off and pick you up after the concert. Ask at the box office in the lobby when you arrive if you need someone to call for a cab for you for after the show.

Q: How should I dress for the concerts?
A: As a summer festival, the dress is casual. Our dressiest concerts are on Friday evenings, where the occasional jacket and/or tie appears.
