Wednesday Upbeat!
The Wednesday Upbeat! series presents a mixture of established and contemporary works in a casual atmosphere. 2010 highlights included chamber works by Schumann and Chopin, solo piano performances by Emma Tahmiziàn, Boris Slutsky, and Peter Basquin, the Ying and Shanghai Quartets, Bartok's Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion, and the world premiere of a new string quartet by Claude Baker.
Please note the change in venue - Wednesday Upbeat! concerts now take place in Studzinski Recital Hall at Bowdoin College.
All performances Wednesdays, 7:30 PM at Studzinski Recital Hall, Bowdoin College.
Concert dates for 2010 are: June 30, July 7, 14, 21, 28, and August 4.
Tickets
- Individual tickets are $25; season tickets are not available.
- Tickets may be ordered with season subscriptions or purchased after our box office opens in mid-June.
- Because of the limited capacity of this hall, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance.
- Priority seating will be given to tickets pre-ordered with Festival Fridays season subscriptions.
- All seats general admission.
