Erika Chinander Sciascia

Erika Chinander Sciascia is a native of Tampa, Florida. She attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree, where she studied violin with Dr. Benjamin Sung. While at FSU, she performed with several local orchestras, theaters, and took second place in both the Ocala Young Artist Competition, and the International Competition of Musical Execution of Airola in 2019. After finishing her undergraduate studies, she obtained a Masters of Advanced Studies Diploma from the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland, where she studied with Pavel Berman. Currently, Erika has returned to FSU to pursue a Master’s degree in Violin Performance and maintains an active teaching and performing schedule.

Erika enjoys reading, cooking, doing yoga, working with animals, and spending time with her family in her free time.
