New York City native Linda Zhang began her musical life from a young age, beginning with the piano at age four, and switching to flute at age ten. She went on to study at Laguardia High School of Performing Arts and completed her Undergraduate degree in flute performance at Hunter College where she was the recipient of the Cutler Scholarship in Orchestral Performance. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Performing Arts Administration at Steinhardt, New York University.With her years of experience in arts administration, Linda has developed a passion for helping music organizations make positive impacts in their communities. She has worked as a registrar, administrative assistant, and development intern at the Bloomingdale School of Music for five years, as well as the operations intern for the Chelsea Symphony. This summer, Linda is excited to work at the Bowdoin International Music Festival as the Program Coordinator.In her free time, Linda likes to cook, weightlift, paint, and crochet.
