Nora (she/they) grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin attending symphony concerts, playing violin, and developing a love of classical music from a young age. In addition to playing violin, Nora has also participated in handbell choirs, Gamelan ensembles, and even took a brief foray into the world of bass clef through upright bass lessons. She recently graduated from Lawrence University, in Wisconsin, where she studied economics and studio art. Alongside courses related to their economics degree, Nora has taken courses on audio recording, audio mastering, and arts management. Nora joined the conservatory tech crew during her first year at Lawrence and has since stage-managed, live-streamed, and recorded a variety of conservatory events. Through her work on the tech crew, Nora has gained a deep love of supporting musicians behind the scenes and making musicians’ performance experiences as joyful as possible. Outside of their conservatory job and time spent learning calculus, Nora has worked as a film photographer to document creative pursuits and create her own body of work.
