SUMMARY:Young Artists Composer Concert
DESCRIPTION:The first two hours of tonight’s program feature student compositions inspired by works of art on view at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art. We have included gallery information with each piece\, and we invite guests to visit the Museum to view the works. \nThe Festival’s composition program is led by composers-in-residence Derek Bermel and Andreia Pinto Correia.  \n— 7:00 PM — \nBENJAMIN NORBROOK\nTwo Maine Visions \nSamuel Zacharia\, viola • Isabel Atkinson\, bass • Isabelle Scott\, harp • Jack Fischer\, percussion \nThis piece was inspired by: George Hawley Hallowell\, The Log Drivers\, ca. 1903\, oil on canvas.
