How about other forms of streaming? Why is streaming audio still so poor? What can I do to make it a bit better? Join me for a crash course on audio streaming\, what you can do to make it a little better\, and how to navigate this new world of distance learning in music. \n \nView the PowerPoint presentation\nThis presentation will remain on our site all season. \nABOUT THE ARTIST\nStephen Roessner is a Grammy Award-winning audio engineer and Lecturer at The University of Rochester. For many years\, he was a recording engineer at The Juilliard School where he worked with students and luminaries of the school. Since leaving Juilliard\, Stephen has been an architect of creating the new Audio & Music Engineering program at The University of Rochester\, where students are immersed in an environment of electrical engineering theory and audio practices. He has been an invited lecturer at Birmingham City University (Birmingham\, UK)\, Fredonia State University (Fredonia\, NY)\, and at multiple Audio Engineering Society conventions. He also has a Bachelor of Music in Percussion Performance\, and has toured the world as a drummer with Saxon Shore\, Fuzzrod\, and League. Stephen lives in Rochester\, NY where he runs his own audio production studio\, Calibrated Sound.
