Violist Taerim Kim, a native of South Korea, has showcased her artistry in esteemed venues such as the Kennedy Center, Alice Tully Hall, and Seoul Arts Center. She has participated in renowned festivals, including the Heifetz Music Institute–Ashkenasi Program, Sarasota Music Festival, and Music in PyeongChang. She also appeared on the Heifetz Holiday Tour and the American radio station WVTF, further sharing her musical voice beyond the concert hall. Kim’s dedication and talent have been recognized through various awards, including being a prize-winner in prestigious competitions such as the SungJung Music Competition, Kukminilbo–Hansei Music Competition, and the Korean Chamber Orchestra Competition. She has collaborated with distinguished artists such as Paul Neubauer, Ani Kavafian, and Brinton Averil Smith, among others. A graduate of The Juilliard School with a B.M., she is currently pursuing her M.M. under the guidance of Paul Neubauer at The Juilliard School.
