Support

Play a Part

The excellence you enjoy on stage is made possible by YOU, our Festival donors.

Your support assures the continuation of over a half-century tradition of bringing the best faculty from around the world to nurture the talents of today’s gifted young musicians. They in turn inspire our hearts and minds through performances, learning initiatives, and community programs of highest artistic standards. We cannot provide these magnificent annual musical experiences without YOU!

Your gift to the Festival’s Annual Fund underwrites performance costs, provides scholarships that ensure that monetary considerations do not prevent gifted young artists from participation, strengthens our operational capacities, and enhances the quality of all our programs.

Every donation, no matter what size, contributes to our ability to carry out the Festival’s mission. Ticket sales partially support performance expenses; YOU provide the means for every other attribute of this wonderful organization.

Ways YOU can make your gift:

  • Give a secure donation online with a credit card

  • Donate appreciated securities
  • Contact the Development Office for other special gift arrangements

Sponsor a Student

Since 1964, the Festival has worked with more than 6,000 students; and we in the audience have enjoyed the resonant results. With your support, we can continue to train gifted young musicians and present superb classical music to Maine communities and beyond. More than 65% of student participants receive scholarships; Fellows receive full tuition, room, board, and fees to attend the Festival. To learn more about becoming a Student Sponsor, contact the Laura Chaney, Director of Development, at laura@bowdoinfestival.org or 207-373-1440.

Support a Guest Artist

Guest Artist Sponsors support one of our world-renowned guest artists, whose talents enrich our concerts, and whose lessons and masterclasses broaden our educational offerings. Contact us at info@bowdoinfestival.org or 207-373-1400 for more information.

Underwrite a Concert or Program

Concert and Program Underwriters receive customized promotional opportunities. As an event sponsor, you or your business will receive recognition with highly respected Festival activities: a concert or concert series, instrumental study, a publication or special event. For information on associated benefits, contact Casey Oakes, Director of Marketing and Communications, at casey@bowdoinfestival.org or 207-373-1400.

Host an Artist

If you own a house or apartment in Brunswick or a neighboring town, you may be able to donate or rent space to one of our professional musicians or their families. Contact us at info@bowdoinfestival.org or 207-373-1400 for more information.
