Abraham Schenck

Abraham Schenck, 21, hails from Seattle, Washington, and is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, where he studies clarinet performance under Maestro Yehuda Gilad. An avid orchestral and chamber musician in Los Angeles, Bram regularly performs with the USC Thornton Symphony Orchestra, the American Youth Symphony, and the Colburn Orchestra. This year, Bram has been selected as a winner of the Yamaha Young Artists Competition and named a prize winner in the Vandoren Emerging Artists Competition. Additionally, he has appeared on NPR’s From The Top fellowship and is a recipient of the YoungArts Foundation award. Bram has performed nationally as part of the National Youth Orchestra, Napa Valley Festival Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony, and as a soloist with the North Corner Chamber Orchestra and the Sammamish Symphony. When he is not playing the clarinet, Bram loves to cook for his friends and family.
