South Korea native Minji Nam is an energetic pianist, chamber musician, and vocal coach. Nam has been actively working as a collaborative pianist for the McDuffie Center for Strings, Florida State University, the MTNA competition, and Seaside Violin Intensive Program. An avid chamber musician, she has attended the Aspen Music Festival and School for the past three years as a collaborative fellow pianist, a keyboardist for the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, and as a piano instructor, an experience that has been highlighted by collaborations with some of the top musicians and living composers in the world. As a vocal coach, she was the music director for the Florida State University opera outreach program and coached opera productions. Nam received her Master of Music in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from the Eastman School of Music and her Bachelor of Music in Piano Solo from Kyung-Won University, Korea. In the fall of 2020, she will start the Collaborative Piano Fellowship Program at Yale University. Her mentors and teachers are Jean Barr, Rita Sloan, Andrew Harley, Elizabeth Pridgen, and Ji-eun Han.
