Nabeel Hayek, a 23-year-old pianist from Nazareth, Israel, has performed as a soloist with major Israeli orchestras and given recitals internationally, with broadcasts on Israel’s Kan Voice of Music and performances in Hong Kong, the U.S., and Europe. He has won top prizes in national competitions in Israel and was recently a quarterfinalist at the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Artists Piano Competition in Salt Lake City.

As a soloist, Nabeel has appeared with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Israel Symphony Orchestra – Rishon Lezion, and the Galilee Chamber Orchestra. He has participated in prestigious festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, the Lieven Piano Foundation in Vienna, and the Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Society.

In addition to his solo career, Nabeel is an active and passionate chamber musician, collaborative pianist, and educator. As a Christian Arab citizen of Israel, he strives to bridge the gap between his community and the world of classical music. His artistic journey is driven by a constant exploration of new ideas, with a particular focus on 20th-century and contemporary works.

Nabeel holds a B.M. from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, Tel Aviv University, where he studied with Arie Vardi and Asaf Zohar. He is currently pursuing his M.M. degree at The Juilliard School under the guidance of Julian Martin. Since 2017, he has also been mentored by Maestro Murray Perahia at the Jerusalem Music Centre. Looking ahead, Nabeel will be pursuing his DMA at The Juilliard School, continuing to refine his artistry and expand his musical vision.
