Yi-Hsuan Su is a passionate collaborative pianist and chamber musician originally from Taiwan. She has performed with instrumental and vocal partners in prestigious venues both internationally and domestically. Notably in Taiwan, Aspen, and the greater Chicago area. In the summer of 2023, she was selected to attend the Aspen Music Festival as an Instrumental Collaborative Piano Fellow.

Yi-Hsuan is currently finishing her Post-Master’s Certificate degree in Collaborative Piano at DePaul University, under the guidance of Dr. Yasuko Oura. She will be pursuing a Doctoral degree next fall with an assistantship as an associate instructor at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.

Before devoting herself to the collaborative piano field, she had completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at National Taiwan Normal University, and her Master of Music in Piano Performance at DePaul University with the Joe Vito Memorial and Thomas A. Brown Endowed Scholarship. Her former principal teachers include George Vatchnadze, Li-Chin Lai, and Fu-Chin Huang.

Additionally, she has participated in solo and collaborative piano masterclasses with renowned teachers, such as Margo Garrett, Anne Epperson, Rita Sloan, Andrew Harley, Cameron Stowe, Anton Nel, and Hsing-Chwen Hsin.
