This concert features Frank Huang & Phillip Ying playing Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante alongside the Festival Orchestra. Huang has been the concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic since 2015 and is currently on faculty at The Juilliard School. His awards include the Naumburg and Hannover Violin Competitions. This concert will feature Joyce Yang performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Festival Orchestra. Yang first came to international attention in 2005 when she won the silver medal at the 12th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.
