Cara Sullivan Joins the Festival as Operations Associate

The Festival is pleased to announce that Cara Sullivan has been hired as Operations Associate. Sullivan joins the Festival from a diverse background in public affairs and community outreach. “This is a wonderful opportunity,” Cara says. “I am beyond excited to work with these amazing people to create such a spectacular festival.”

Sullivan will be instrumental in organization and management as preparations for the Festival’s upcoming 53rd season continues. “We are thrilled to welcome Cara Sullivan to the Festival staff. She is a delight to have on the team and I look forward to introducing her to the Festival community,” says Daniel Nitsch, Executive Director of the Festival. “Cara brings aptitude and energy to her position and I’m excited to see the ways she contributes to the Festival experience.” Casey Oakes, Director of Marketing and Communications, added, “After interviewing multiple applicants it became clear that Cara was a perfect fit for the organization. Her background exhibits the precise skills and experience we were looking for. She is organized, passionate, hardworking, and a joy to have in the office. She is a terrific addition to our staff for what is sure to be a tremendous 53rd season.”

Cara Sullivan is a Massachusetts native who enjoys all elements the theatre and music world have to offer. Sullivan graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a public relations degree and has since dedicated her career to public affairs. She has worked in many areas of communications throughout her career, and more recently in politics for the Mayor of Boston. A creative spirit, Sullivan enjoys cooking, dancing, and of course, listening to all types of music.
