Live Streaming

This summer the Festival will continue live streaming performances and events to anyone with an internet connection. Local and global audiences can access exceptional Young Artists Series performances, Subscription Series events, and Masterclasses, a first-hand look into the teaching and learning process that goes into creating music, on any internet-connected device.

The Festival is committed to providing its viewers with meaningful dialogue through music. In addition to 20 subscription concerts and over 175 free events in Maine, live streaming provides world-class chamber music to all music-lovers, regardless of mobility, financial limitations, or time constraints.

An important part of the Festival’s mission is to engage the surrounding community with music performed at the highest artistic standards. Live streaming helps the Festival fulfill that mission in even more far-reaching ways. Providing an environment for students to share their music is also central to the Festival’s mission, and live streaming allows participants to connect musically with their friends and family around the globe. The quality and accessibility of the programing will continue to make a significant cultural impact in Maine communities and beyond.

If you are too busy to make it to the Bowdoin College campus, you can enjoy live chamber music while having an afternoon coffee or when cooking dinner. To watch live streams visit bowdoinfestival.org/festivalive on your computer, smart TV, smartphone, or any other device with an internet connection. Streaming will also be available on the Festival Facebook page.
