Madilyn Connor

Madilyn Connor (she/her) is a flutist from upstate New York. She recently graduated from Ithaca College with a B.M. in Flute Performance, and she is excited to join the Creative Team of the contemporary sextet Eighth Blackbird this August. Passionate about chamber music and multimedia performances, Madilyn frequently collaborates with various musicians and artists. Most recently she created the MTN Trio, a contemporary chamber group dedicated to collaborating with living composers. MTN Trio commissioned two new works for their instrumentation this year. In her free time, Madilyn loves to run, hike, rock climb, and drink tea. She is very excited to return to the Festival for her second summer.
