Artur Korotin

Artur Korotin (They/Them) is a Ukrainian-American violinist, educator, and arts administrator based in Buffalo, New York. They collaborate with composers on new works, maintain a repertoire drawing from various styles, and perform improvised songs with comedy improvisers. Since 2022, Artur teaches on violin faculties of non-profit organizations based on the El Sistema initiative including ROCmusic and Buffalo String Works. As Co-Artistic Director of the Soaring Arts Music Collective, they explore combining classical, pop, and contemporary compositions for listeners and performers in Denver, Colorado. After graduating from the Eastman School of Music, Artur became a Personal Assistant to Professor Emeritus Oleh Krysa to produce a memoir about David Oistrakh, ‘My Oistrakh With Love, Oleh Krysa.’ Artur is excited to join the Bowdoin Festival for this summer’s season.
