Taylor Hussey is a 2022 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where they held positions as Fellowship Crew Chief, principal percussionist, and student conductor. Recent accolades include first prizes in the 2021 UNH Concerto Competition and the 2021 New England Brass Band Stan Whitlock Youth Solo Competition. They have also performed at UNH as a percussionist with the Wind Symphony and Symphony Orchestra, as well as a trumpet player in the Jazz Bands and student conductor of the Treble Choir and Concert Choir. While in the Fellowship Crew, they provided equipment, livestreaming, and audio support for all UNH Music Department events. As a performer, conductor, and technician they are dedicated to ensuring performance success. Recent teachers include Nancy Smith, Dr. Alex Favazza Jr., and Dr. Andrew Boysen Jr. Taylor is excited to bring their skills in audio engineering and livestreaming to the Bowdoin International Music Festival.
